I was disappointed I selected this medical walk in facility over to many others I could have patronized in the area. Wait time was far longer than what was advertised on the South Coast website and deceiving as well. Also, I am not sure of the benefits to patients for them to reserve their visit time online. ??? I did this, yet...after sitting in the examining room for well over an hour, I found it necessary to Seek out the staff to assure no one forgot about me. It would have been courteous of the staff to let their patients such as myself to at least elaborate on why the wait time was excessive particularly being that two staff members were sitting right outside my examining room, idly chatting. Most off putting was the aloof and defensive practitioner who put me on alert as to the "life threatening emergencies" occurring which took priority, despite the fact that this office (NOT...an emergency room) was virtually empty and silent as well during that time. The practioner's medical examination was rushed, lacked any true investigation of my symptoms, and uncomfortable. For this reason in particular, I have notified my insurance company as I feel they should be alerted to the low level of care I have received for which they must cover.
There are now MANY-MANY walk in medical services available to the public and the low level of both appropriate service and care I experienced is excuseless and unacceptable, particularly when coming from the practitioner herself, who, represents South Coast Urgent Care in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
I am not one to typically write reviews however we are here on vacation and my 8yr old son fell and broke his arm. Everyone there were wonderful! He was seen quickly, given x-rays by an amazing tech and we were out of there in a little over an hours. Thank you ladies for making the last day of our vacation as minimally stressful as possible given the circumstances. I would highly recommend!
I had an ear infection and they didn't give me anything.. I had to go to my pcp the next day to get properly treated.. total wast of time and money avoid at all costs and go somewhere else... I also waited two hours to be seen...
Complete and total waste of time to come here. Every single time I've ever come here I haven't gotten the things that I need. They couldn't draw my husband's blood and spilt it all over the floor and hoods pants! Tested him for Lyme & turns out he was having an issue with his liver. I came in with a TRI and left WITHOUT antibiotics to treat it. Every time I've come here it's been a waste of time and have had to go somewhere else the next day to get the things I needed.
I had never gone to an urgent care in my life and on Sunday just knew something was not rite and I got there at 3:30 and was out by 4:30 with a diagnosis and made me go to ER i had a temp of 103.1 they very fast and kind and nonjudgmental. Explained everything thoroughly and i dont have a bad thing to say. They were great.
